Febeau Government Primary School is located off Saddle Road, San Juan about one kilometer north of the Croisee. The school was originally intended to be built at Laventille Road, Febeau Village. Despite its existence in an underprivileged area, the school has become a beacon of education in the community producing excellent pupils two of whom have excelled to win Island Scholarships. Additionally, some past pupils have ventured to serve the community in various fields of endeavor. Some have even returned to their Alma Martha to be of service and to further uplift and enrich the institution.
The school participates in many cultural and sporting activities. In 1990, 2001, 2003, 2012, 2016 and 2019, the school’s steelband, Febeau Pan Giants, participated in the Primary Schools' Steelband Music Festival placing 5th, 3rd , 2nd , 2nd , 4th and 5th respectively in the finals. Since its inception, Febeau Pan Giants had performed at many functions including graduations, weddings, and Christmas functions at the Brian Lara Promenade.
Academically, the school has performed creditably, over the years with many of its students gaining places at 'prestige’ schools. Many of its students have moved on the University of the West Indies and universities abroad.
With its aim to develop its students holistically, the school has embarked on getting its students involved in agriculture. There is a school garden with the emphasis on cultivating mainly short-term crops. Additionally, the school is also involved in animal husbandry.
